Will turns 1!

While I was in Houston, we celebrated Will's 1st birthday. Will is my cousin's son, the first grand baby on my mom's side.

I took a "quick" trip to Houston last week to see the family. What started out as 2 days turned into 4 because of storms. They started canceling flights out of Houston to Memphis, so I ended up going with my brother back to Austin. We went to church at the Austin Stone and then I flew back to Memphis on Monday.

But while I was at the folks', there was much entertaining going on. Check out the hula-hooping!

Okay, so I've decided it's hard to photograph a dog. At first, he was too far away.
Then, just when I was getting a little closer, when I got down on eye level, he started on the move. Assuming I was there to play. Plus the big black toy with strappy-thing must have seemed entertaining too.
Then finally, one cute picture.
