She's a week old already!

Sleeping baby

While my family all went to church, I caught a quick video of my sleeping daughter.

Emily's First Bath

We gave Emily her first sponge bath on Thursday. She wasn't such a big fan of being naked. But once we wrapped her up, she was happy baby again.

Coming Home

We spent 2 days in the hospital, getting to know our daughter (and letting the Nursery staff care for her during the nights....so nice!)

Then we headed home. Here is Emily in her car seat, sitting on the sofa at home. Isn't she so tiny?!?

10 tiny toes, and 10 tiny fingers....she's perfect!

Emily's Birthday

Emily Lynn came a few days before her due date. My water broke on Monday morning, while eating pancakes with Matt and my mom. After a quick check with the Dr., we headed to the hospital.

I got an epidural at 3:18pm and Emily was born at 7:23pm on October 19, 2009.

She was 8lbs, 3 oz, and measured 21 inches.

Emily with her family, Matt's dad (Papa), Matt (Daddy), me (Mommy), my mom (Nana), and Matt's mom (Buela). My dad drove up Thursday and has yet to pick a grandparent name. :-)

Emily Lynn

Emily is here! She came a few days early. Emily was born Monday night, October 19th, at 7:23pm. She's 8lbs, 3oz, 21 inches long. We are thrilled, home, and doing well. Thank you for your love and prayers and support!

She's perfect, and we are all so in love!

39 weeks, 2 days

Here we are, 39 weeks, 2 days. Today's Sunday, and I'm scheduled to have this baby in 4 days....Thursday at 8:30 am. I can't believe how quickly these months have flown by! Emily will be here any day!

So Sad...

I was getting dressed and tried on this shirt to go under a top....and had a good laugh. This shirt used to fit!

38 weeks, 3 days - 11 days left!

Here I am at 38 weeks, 3 days. I just have 11 days until my due date. Thursday is my last day of work, my mom comes in that day as well. We're just waiting for Emily to decide to arrive! Yay!

Pregnancy Pictures

My friend Beth came over this weekend and took some fabulous pictures of me and Matt (and Emily) while I am pregnant. At this point, I am 36 weeks, 2 days. But as of today, I am 37 weeks! Full term, yay!
