Christmas
We had a wonderfully cold Christmas here in Memphis this year.
First, we went to the Christmas Eve service at our church on Thursday night.
Matt's parents came too.
Emily gave us the best gift on Christmas morning....she slept through the night (10:30-6:30)! After she was fed and happy, we started in under the tree.
Matt and I got matching Razorbacks gear (he's going to see them win in the Liberty Bowl next week!)...
I got a few Willowtree angels...
and Emily got a few things too.
But she slept through the most exciting part, presents!
Matt's parents put on a little presentation and let us know about our trip to Florida in July!
It was a wonderful Christmas. This was the first time I've ever been in Memphis on Christmas morning. Very fitting since it is our very first Christmas with Emily.
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope yours was as sweet as ours!

Talking
Emily met Mr. Cordy Roy for the first time this week.
And then she decided to talk to him....well a little bit. Bummer, can't figure out how to post a video.

Here is Miss Thang! She was 2 months old on Saturday...
She is still so tiny...10lbs 12 oz, 22.75 inches long when we went to the Dr. on Friday.

First Flight
Here we are, coming down the escalator at IAH, Houston Airport. We survived our first flight!! Maybe Emily will love flying as much as her daddy does....
8 Weeks Old
Here is Emily, in Houston for her 8 weeks picture.
I'll post more soon! We're having a good time, celebrating Christmas with the Gilger's in Houston.

7 weeks old
I couldn't decide which 7 weeks picture was my favorite, so you get them all!
Emily is making a few sounds now and then...nothing consistent. I am waiting as well for to smile because she's happy, not because of gas.
This week she did sleep through the night one night, from 10:30-6:30am. Not too bad at all! I'm also hoping for some repeats of that night as well.
Otherwise, she's wonderful! A great, easy baby.
