27 Weeks Old

Emily is 27 weeks old this week.

 We had our 6 month appointment and found that she is long and skinny (duh!) She's 25.5 inches long but only 13 lbs, 12 oz. That puts her in the 10th percentile for her weight. We've added some formula to her bottles as well as cereal, veggies and fruits to her diet, so maybe she'll chunk up a bit over the next few weeks.

For now, here are a few pictures from today!

1st Veggies

We had our first bite of veggies this week.
First we had carrots...

Carrots were a hit! She loves them!
A few days later we tried some green beans....totally different story.

We started off strong, but, wait for it...

Nope! Not gonna like it today!

So, we wiped it off and went back to carrots. :-)

 Yay for solid foods!

Sitting up & rolling over

Em is sitting up for a good period of time these days.

She's still a little wobbly, but sitting well!She's also rolling over, and always is reaching for my camera. See, proof!

Em's favorite pasttime

Baseball's out as America's Favorite Pasttime. Pink plastic cups are in.Our favorite pasttime these days is this little pink cup. Nana gave it to her while she was here and now she loves it...all the time!She loves to hold it and pass it from hand to hand.
She pitches a fit when you take it from her. And then reaches out for it to play again.

6 months, 26 weeks, half birthday today!

I can't believe my Emily is 6 months old today. It was just yesterday you were born...

We took you home and you were so tiny.

My hubby's been busy

Matt has been doing some yard work this week...all by himself! Take a look at all his hard labor!

We will have some beautiful flowers this summer...

He planted daisies, lillies, hostas, wandering jew, gardenias, the works!

200th post!

Woah, I had no idea I'd posted 200 posts till I saw it today! Wow, that's a lot of pictures I've shared with the world, and I love doing it!!
I of course have to include some super adorable pictures of Emily in this post. I need to make it worthwhile for all of my "followers." This is a big day...200 post and all!

I took some pictures of Emily in her Easter dress this week since we didn't get very many on Easter Sunday before she pooped all over it. :-)

Emily has started to love the exersaucer this week. And I love to see her happy!

Have a wonderful Saturday. My mom will be here next week to hang out for a few days, so I'll be sure to post several pictures of our time together.

We got Emily dressed up in a pretty dress and Matt took his girls on a date to our favorite, the OG (Olive Garden).

We had a great time feeding Emily her first cereal. She ate it really well....we were both surprised how great she did (ok, not really. She's so laid back it's really not surprising how well she did with it!)

We had to capture every face, every bite. She was so funny!
