40 weeks

I was informed by my mother that I didn't post anything here this week. My apologies to everyone who noticed. :-)

Here are a few pics from the last 2 weeks.

Emily got a new RL outfit from her Buela.

We also went to Houston to hang out with all my family.

Pretty dress

I bought this dress at KidsTown Consignment sale this spring for like $3. 

And this is the first time she wore it. Isn't she adorable??

I'm so glad Kidstown is this week. I'm gonna rack up on lots of cute clothes and toys for her. Yay!

9 months old. Oh my goodness.

Emily is 9 months old already. Wow. When did time decide it wanted to start flying by?? No one asked me if it was okay. I would have said "No." For sure.

She has given up the scooting and is now truly crawling.

She always wants what I have (which is why she is directly under me and the camera in this picture.)

She likes to sleep like a taco during her naps (because she can now sit up by herself).

All in all, she is an adorable fun happy giggly little girl.

Yep, she's crawling!!

Emily is 38 weeks today and.....yep, she is most definitely crawling.

Today she made her way onto the bottom of her exersaucer.

I think she likes her new found freedom. Besides a few bumps on the head she has already given herself, she's loving crawling!

37 weeks (I think)

When we went on vacation I seemed to have lost track of how old Emily is! I guess I should give up on weeks and just go to months. In that case, she's 8 1/2 months old!

We started some finger foods this week. She's eating crackers, cheese pieces, and in these pictures...banana. That, after she sucked the ever livin's out of a few strawberries. She got really messy and loved it!

After I caught a few banana pictures, we were just trying to make her laugh and smile for the camera- and we had great success!

This is one messy cute kid!

Hanging out with friends

Emily had a play date with our neighbor Natalie. Natalie liked to give Em kisses.

Crawling!

Emily started crawling...or at least scooting around the floor.  She's really good at turning in circles. But she still doesn't really get up on her knees to truly crawl. "Scooting" or "Army crawling," whatever you call it, it's cute!
