Christmas Pics 2012

So the pictures I posted this week were from the weekend before Christmas when Matt's family came to town. Here are some from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after (a white December 26th!)

Before our Christmas Eve service, Emily scattered some reindeer food she had made at MDO.

We woke up Wednesday morning to about 2 inches of snow.

45 Weeks

I was able to catch a quick smile from Miss K this morning, since she's always on the move.

Twinkies

I bought the girls matching Christmas dresses last year - on sale of course. Finally, everyone was healthy enough to go to church and wear them yesterday. And let me say....they were adorable. Super adorable. See for yourself.

The Lord has blessed us so incredibly this Christmas season. 

Daddy's Girls

No one loves their daughters like Matt does.  Not the best pics, but still sweet memories of Daddy/Daughter moments. All dressed in blue PJ's.

Santa Baby ~ 44 Weeks

Merry {early} Christmas from our little Santa Baby Girl!

We all love this piano playing snowman who sings carols. Kara is particularly fascinated with him. 

Kitchen Remodel ~ Befores and Afters

We had our kitchen remodeled this fall by Bennett Construction Company.

And I finally cleaned up {enough} to take a few pictures. We love it!

 As you can see, they removed the cabinet and gave us a bar area {where I'm sitting right now}. We also now have granite countertops and painted cabinets!

 They raised our microwave up 7 inches so we can see the top of our stove.

 They removed that wall where the cabinet was {in the before}, opened our kitchen up to the living room, painted our kitchen gold and gave us a beautiful tile backsplash {designed by me}.

We also got a few new light fixtures.

We love it! And Kara loves...to eat things off the floor in our new kitchen, too.

10 months old

She is the sweetest girl...

43 Weeks Old

I only got one picture of Kara today at 43 weeks before she fell on her booty and cried.

(In her defense, she has a cold and was ready for a nap, so I would have cried too if my mom was trying to get me to smile for pics under those circumstances.)

At 43 weeks, sweet Kara is sleeping through the night (Finally!!!)! She's is pulling up to her knees on everything, and up to her feet against some things, like Daddy. I think she prefers being on her feet now. She makes all kinds of talking noises, eats more than her big sis, & smiles all the time. We are so in love with this fabulous girl!
