2 weeks old

Here are Kara's 2 week pics (yes, I am going to try to keep up with her weekly pictures like I did with Emily).

She was catching a snooze in the middle of her bedroom on her quilt...

1st bath

Kara got her first bath while my parents were in town. She didn't like it at first, but then she settled down.

 She even smiled for the camera!

12 days old big events

Kara got all dressed up for her first day at church on Sunday in her new dress from Aunt Suzie. No one saw her pretty dress, socks, and shoes since she was bundled up in her car seat the whole time. But I knew how pretty she was under all the blankets. :-)

 After church, we hurried home for a family photo shoot with Elizabeth Wiggs. Liz was kind enough to let me grab my camera at the very end of our session and snap a few pictures of Kara. So here is the very amateur version of what is to come!

Cousins

Matt's family came into town to meet Kara this weekend. Now there are 4 cousins on his side...

5 days old

Here are some sweet pics I took of Kara- just 5 days old!

She is a great eater, sleeper, & pooper. She is also a very quiet  baby....so far! A sweet addition to our family.

Kara Mae

Baby Kara came into the world Tuesday night February 7, 2012 at 7:39pm. She weighed 7lbs 5oz and is 19.5 inches long.
Here she is last Wednesday.

And here she is this Wednesday.

The Lord has blessed us so.

38 weeks

Well, there are just 10 days or less until Kara arrives. I can't believe it.

Here I am today, Feb 6th. 38 weeks, 2 days officially.

But we are ready for this munchkin to arrive. Everything is washed and in its proper place. I'll take some pics of the nursery soon and post them. I'm very proud of how it turned out!
