Kara's 1st Tooth

Ladies and Gentlemen, without further introduction....Kara's 1st Tooth has made it's grande appearance!

Sweet baby girl got her first tooth on October 12th.

She was 35 weeks and 3 days old when it first popped through.

 Yay for teeth!

In other news, Emily has her first dental appointment tomorrow. Say a prayer it goes well!

Mommy & Me

I laid down next to Kara for her pics this week.....and I should have known...

I'm a few hairs less than I was when I sat down, but totally and completely worth it for these priceless moments with my angel.

37 weeks old

I was off a week last week, I think. But I looked at the calendar and Kara is 37 weeks old today!

And just today she has figured out how to scoot herself backwards into a sitting positions from her tummy...which has made her afternoon nap today very difficult. Lots of sitting and crying, very little napping.

Anywho, it was a warm day, so I threw on a dress Emily wore and headed outside...

Baby in a Box

Kara spent some time sitting in a box in the backyard yesterday while Emily played. It really worked perfectly as a playpen... no grass to eat, blankets to pull on, no where to go. Perfect for an almost-crawling baby!

 Annoying new tooth gets rubbed by that tongue all the time.  

We'll have to save that box and use it again- truly it worked really well!

Birthday Party Fun

Emily had a great birthday day last Friday. First, her Arkansas grandparents came over and delivered presents...
