I have to give a blog shout out to our newest members of the family....Simba and Nala!

 Nala and Simba are sister/brothers and we rescued them from the animal shelter.

Girls Girls Everywhere!

Next door live 2 little girls- the same ages as Emily and Kara. They are playing together constantly!

There's always a trail of girls in the yard and in the street. Fun for a lifetime!

Backyard wildlife

Our backyard is a playground for deer, raccoons, opossums, skunks (as of last night!), turkeys, hummingbirds, and these gorgeous yellow finches!

Peas & Harmony

Emily spent last week at her first Drama Camp at the local community college. They put on a play at the end of the week- The Princess and the Pea. Emily was a pea. And boy was she a cute one!

Here's one of the last scenes.....(they are dancing to "Houndog" in order to make the princess have a rough night of sleep. )

I love how she tries to catch a dust bunny!

25 months old

At bedtime, she wants me to sing "Pap, oooh" (the VBS song, Journey off the Map), "Jesus" (Jesus Loves Me,) and "Holy, holy, holy."

And she just loves to swim!

She needs a rapper name...
