15 Weeks

Ashley is celebrating her 15 weeks old today! She's sitting in my lap, here at the computer, smiling at her pictures.

 She smiles when we say "Hey, Ashley," loves to have somebody close, giving her undivided attention. She can hold her neck up great, and started holding a few objects, sometimes putting them in her mouth.

 Her nighttime sleep patterns are getting more unpredictable, but during the day, she's staying awake 1.5-2 hours, then napping about 45minutes- unless I can get that paci back in and lull her back to  sleep. Then she may sleep another hour or so.

And her poop is out of control! She leaks through and soils one outfit everyday. :-(

1st Day of MDO 2014 {and a look back at 2013...and even 2012}

The girls started back to MDO yesterday, so I took their pictures, of course!!

 This is Emily's last year at MDO- next fall she'll be in Kindergarten. Craziness.

On the drive to school Kara said, "I not going to cry, Mommy. I growing up! I a big girl!"

Awww....

She still cried a little, but had a great first day!

14 Weeks Old

I am so enjoying getting my camera out regularly and taking pictures of the girls. It keeps me learning. And I get to document how big my girls are getting. And how quickly they change.

Here is Ashley- smiling big- at 14 weeks old.

Comparing @ 3 Months

Ya'll all know I like to compare pictures of my girls at the same ages. Especially because so many of you say they all look like twins! So let's see....

3 Months Old {13 Weeks}

Baby Ashley is 3 months old today! Woohoo- we've survived 92 days! (but who's counting?)

Ashley Grace has the bluest of blue eyes. So beautiful.

Every day she get sweeter and more enjoyable.

 She started to laugh this week too, and it's such a sweet sound.

 She loves to suck on her fingers and has really started to drool a lot. Teething already? Not sure. But I put on the amber necklace this week just in case.

She certainly loves her Mommy (that's ME!), sleeps on her tummy, can hold her head up very well, only likes to be held upright (no more cradling for her), and quiets down when we go outside. 

 She usually sleeps an 8 hr stretch at night, eats and sleeps another 3-4 hours. During the day, she takes three 1-2 hour naps.

And I love to see her smile.

Little Blue Dress

Aunt Ginny gave us this blue dress when Emily was born. All 3 girls have worn it, and you know I love to compare pictures when the girls are in the same clothes. So here it is!

Now Aunt Ginny has a baby girl too, so we will get to see Baby Emmy in it soon!

I had to catch a few pics of this beautiful girl this week.

 She was spinning around, trying not to smile for the camera (that's why her hair is flying). But I was still able to grab a few cute "action" shots!

 And then there's this side of her. Ornery and spunky.

She will be 5 in 3 months. I can't believe it.

{2 out of 3} Sisters

You'd think I'd have lots of words of wisdom about raising girls. But I don't. Their relationship changes from minute to minute.
But most of the time (I'd say about 85%), they are best friends and play great. They seem to always be together, including the other in whatever they are into. At this very moment, breakfast is being served by Daddy and Emily just said "I want to sit by Kara."
They are so sweet.
 I love these girls.

And I am so glad they have each other (and Ashley) for the rest of their lives. What a treasure.
