Lake

We spent the weekend at the Lake with the Housman family. In spite of the 65% chance of rain EVERYDAY....it was quite a pleasant trip! And it hardly rained at all.

I got to go shopping in downtown Hardy and saw a ton of antique dishes. Not very exciting.

Eating Out

Why is it so difficult to pick a restaurant? Why do we sit here and go back and forth, anything we choose will be fine, I'm sure.

Can you tell what the dilemma of the day is?

Matt and I are just so fickle...pretty much about everything. Maybe it's that we are both too analytical and weigh too many options and too many pro's and con's- in any situation!

Do we move into a bigger house? Or do we stay here? It depends on the day where we land on that issue. It just wears me out.

Dinner options are Chili's (I have a gift card thanks to dt) or Fresh Slices. Any votes??

Make Disciples

Diane Smith inspired me to put something on here today that hit me when I was reading Acts chapter 14 this morning. Verse 21 says this about Paul and Barnabas: "And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch..."

"Made many disciples...."

What does that mean? Does that mean the preached the gospel and people accepted Christ and then Paul and Barney just kept moving, or doest that mean they had an extended time of teaching people what it means to know Christ and to follow Him? Did they meet one on one with new believers? Did they have group Bible studies? What did it look like for these two men to "make many disciples" before they moved on?

I've known a lot of people, led a few small groups, done many Bible studies, but have I made many disciples? Have I given enough time and attention to those who need it, so that they may have a more intimate relationship with the One who gives us life?

Photoshop Express

I found a way cool website online yesterday....it's called Photoshop Express and it's *free*. it may not be as sophisticated as the real Adobe Photoshop, but it works for newby's like me who just want to brighten or enhance some pics.

There are cool tutorials that walk you through each editing option that it has, and they are actually helpful! Imagine that!
