Pumpkin Patch

We went to a birthday party at a pumpkin patch on Emily's birthday. It was chilly and wet, but the girls had a great time, and so did Matt & I!

Kara liked to pick up every pumpkin and bring it to us, no matter the size.

Happy Birthday Emily- 4 years old

This sweet, growing up girl turned 4 yesterday. She got a big girl bike and loves it!

It even has a basket for Lovie. 

 But I think she likes the bell most of all.

 That's a big pumpkin, Emily. Don't drop it!

I think this picture really captures her at 4...always on the move, always with a huge smile, ready to hit the next thing!  

We love you Emily....to the moon and back!

20 months old

Emily's Farm Day

Emily had farm day at Mother's Day Out this week. I was unable to go, but a friend took some pictures for me.  She had a great time.

She told us she fed the chickens, rabbits, goats and billy goats. She said billy goats were boys and goats were girls. Not sure if that's accurate, but it sounds good to me!

Big Sisters

Yes, I said sisters!

Kara and Emily will both become big sisters in May 2014. We are excited- I am anticipating terrible morning sickness, like I had with both girls.

But as we prepare, it's fun to talk to Emily about babies. We pray for a healthy, growing baby. The other night, she even put her hands on my tummy while we prayed. The sweetest! She asks questions all the time, and we do our best to explain this little miracle to her.

It's great to say, "Emily, the Bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made." And then we get to explain to her how God made her so perfectly.

We are thanking the Lord for all 3 of our "fearfully and wonderfully made" babies!
