Flock of Five

We have baby chicks! 5 of them have joined our family!

Come back chickens!

 Kara wanted to them to come hang out with her so bad! She always wants to see a black one.

And Emily always wants to see a yellow one.

Hopefully, these girls will be ready to out to the backyard permanently before Baby Girl arrives in about 6 weeks. Can't have 5 baby chicks and a baby in the house at the same time- I'll go crazy!

Drive Thru Zoo

We went back to the Tennessee Safari Park over spring break with Nana & Granddaddy.

Other than the scary ostriches and emus, it was another great time feeding african animals.

More than a month ago, Kara celebrated her 2nd birthday with her friends.

Little Fishergirl

Emily is an outdoor girl. She is ready to get her own bow and arrow and go hunting with Daddy. She played with an earth worm for an hour today (it miraculously survived) and said "I love it!" She loves to run outside. And now she loves to fish. 

And she's pretty good at it too.

We went to the park while Nana and Granddaddy were here and she caught the only fish of the day - on her princess fishing pole. A little rainbow trout. We were all so proud of her!
