Biggest Sis
I keep trying to take a great pic of the 3 girls together. It's not working too well. But I did catch this gem this week....
Not a great shot of the 3 of them, but Emily....wow! She is so beautiful.
She is a great Biggest Sister. She's doing her first week of VBS this week and comes home every day teaching me truths about Jesus. She loves to be outside, loves her friends, loves her chickens, and loves her sisters.
We love you, Emily!

4 Weeks Old
Ashley is 4 weeks old. I didn't get many good pictures of her because she was cross-eyed and looked very funny. So here's the best one.
She is sleeping like a champ at night...from 8pm to 3am to around 7-8am the next morning. I can't believe it, actually. She naps on her tummy but sleeps swaddled in the Miracle Blanket at night. She loves to be held (who doesn't?) and is a great 'Baby Sis.' In fact, her Big Sis Kara loves her a lot.
I kind of worry about her being hugged too tightly, stepped on, laid upon, poked, or every kissed too much. She is well loved!

3 Weeks Old
Miss Ashley is 3 weeks old today. I laid her down for some tummy time and she promptly fell asleep- bottom in the air. A perfect pose for pictures!
At 3 weeks, she eats every 3-4 hours during the day. At night, she goes to sleep between 8-9pm and sleeps about 5 hours (when she takes a 2-3oz formula bottle) or 3 hours on the dot if nursing. She then goes right back to sleep.
We've been swaddling her at night in the wonderful Miracle Blanket to eliminate those jerks that wake her up after 15 minutes.
She is a blessing to our family.

Emily's Trike-a-thon for St. Jude
Emily had her Trike-a-thon at MDO in April. She was very excited to show off her big girl bike and helmet.
It was a little chilly- lots of wind that day- so we found her jacket and she started her race!
Kara did the race too, but not on a trike- riding in a stroller made for 8 (not sure what they call those).
And they're off!
Way to go girls! Good racing for St. Jude!
