This amazing girl is growing up too fast!

 Last Sunday, she was still dressed from church, and since her hair looked so beautiful, I talked her into a few pictures.

 She's ready for 1st grade!

 There's no where she'd rather be than outside. Or watching a movie, maybe.

She's so smart and so fun, and a blessing to our little family!

Kara- 4.5

Our precious Kara Mae is 4.5 today. Around here we celebrate half birthdays- no party or cake, just a  "Happy Half Birthday to You!" song and a few pictures.

These about sum up this goofy, happy, compassionate girl.

 She loves skirts, fried eggs, singing, running, laughing, and "How to Train Your Dragon."

 Her favorite color is still pink.

 She still takes a good 2 hour nap most days, but would rather skip nap and play with Emily.

 We love all her crazy smiles and sweet laughter.

Goodness, we love her to the moon and back! 

Simba & Nala

I have to give a blog shout out to our newest members of the family....Simba and Nala!

 Nala and Simba are sister/brothers and we rescued them from the animal shelter.

Girls Girls Everywhere!

Next door live 2 little girls- the same ages as Emily and Kara. They are playing together constantly!

There's always a trail of girls in the yard and in the street. Fun for a lifetime!

Backyard wildlife

Our backyard is a playground for deer, raccoons, opossums, skunks (as of last night!), turkeys, hummingbirds, and these gorgeous yellow finches!
