Pics from Houston
Here are some fun pictures from our trip to Houston to see my family. We drove across town and ate lunch at the Kemah Boardwalk and then took a tour of the Johnson Space Center, aka Nasa (since I really want to be an astronaut). It was incredible!
Scott striking a pose, or something
Grandmother Gilger, always a beautiful lady, even at 91!
Matt wanted to fly those little airplanes...

So...meet my Mom (Becky), Dad (Mac), brother Scott, and Grandmother. Oh and some yummy crawfish we boiled for lunch. They were delish!
You can see the airplanes flying in this one.
We're in love...
Space ships are really big
Atlas...holding up the moon!
Me and my little brother
Check out these spicy crawfish!

Reunion Time
It's amazing what Facebook can do....
There's a group picture of my Academy graduating class of 1998 that recently got posted on Facebook. And because of that picture we've all been reunited! Our 10 year reunion is this fall and so we've been able to keep in touch and make plans for it.
This group of people is incredible. We had so much fun in high school and most have managed to stay in touch since then. It will be a very fun reunion.
Yes, that's me in the middle!

And another fun one from High School...

No house for us
Well, our dream house is sold...to someone else. Oh well. We'll see what else God has in store for our future!

The pigtails are back...
We start VBS at church this week, and I am the host, Mrs. Ari (not a Miss anymore)! It's going to be fun to be back in front of all the kids. I've been in charge of directing all the actors for the skits, and they have done an excellent job. I've really enjoyed that so far.

But this week, I'll be rockin' and rollin' in my Mrs. Ari pigtails.
Let's take a look at them in the past, shall we?
Ooo, high and on the side, not so good lookin'...
(plus, it's a really terrible look on my face,
good thing I'm not easily embarrassed...)
A little bit further back, much better!
I'll do my best to post a current look at the pigtails when the week is through.
Stay tuned!
