13 months

Kara is 13 months old!

 I dropped the ball in taking her picture on her birth-day, so these are a little delayed.

 But I don't think she changed too much in the course of a week.

She says Da-da and Momma- but I think she only associates Dada with Daddy, 

not momma with me yet. Still working on it.  

She is so happy, sleeps great, eats great, and at 13 months only took 3-4 steps at a time.

Now, at 13 months & 1 week, she can really walk! All over the place!

Kara is Walking!

Kara has taken up the art of walking!

This goofy grin is a sign of utter delight....I think she likes her new mobility!

Matchy~Matchy

A few weeks ago, us gals ended up in matching outfits. Red & Black. Kara doesn't own any red pants, so she was flip-flopped. I set up the camera with a timer- and this is what we got!

Valentine's Candy

Valentine's week, Emily came home from her MDO with a treat bag full of candy. Of course, she wanted to dig in immediately.

 It amazes me how just a few M&M's can get her so messy... 

M&M's...you are wrong. They do melt in your mouth and in your hands...

She's Walking! (a little)

Every time I try to catch Kara walking on camera, she never repeats it. It's usually just 2 steps, then fall. But this morning I caught a few more than 2 on film....

She pops up, standing on her own all the time, all over the house. Sometimes she'll take a few steps on her own. But most of the time, she's still crawling or "bottom scooting."
