Best iPhone Pic EVER!

Not too often do I take a picture that requires immediate posting. This one did.

She only had shorts and a shirt on when I left her in her room for her nap. 

She must have decided that she needed shoes and socks, sun hat, sunglasses, and of course, 

her winter mittens. 

HILARIOUS! 

But in the words of my mother-in-law, "at least she's asleep."

Emily's St. Jude Trike-a-thon

Emily's trike-a-thon for St. Jude was today. And she was rockin' it!

 and so was Kara!

 She had a really great time raising money for St. Jude.

Emily and Her Blue Swing

This girl LOVES to swing. All day any day. As high as I will push her.

So while Kara was napping, we headed out to the swing set. A gorgeous day - first day to wear shorts this year!

 I'm certain you are as in love with her pigtails as I am! 

What a fun, sweet, crazy, energetic, mood-swingy (that's normal, right), wonderful girl!

And of course, these remind me of these. (and in case you don't click that link, here's a small look at  July 2011)

14 months old

While Daddy and Emily were napping, Kara and I took a few pictures since she is 14 months old today!

We headed out to the front yard. She tried to eat some "nature" and pick up a big rock.

See?? Big rock!

 She knows where her head is, and she says "Uh-oh!" all the time.

 Isn't she lovely?

And she's a great walker!

I love that when Kara wears Emily's old clothes, I get filled with memories of when Em was smaller.

For example...here she is 19 months old...

A Day in the Life of Emily

Boy, this girl can talk! And talk, and talk, and talk!

Here she is at lunch- she was telling me some story about yogurt and why she should get to eat it...
