41 Weeks

Here are some super cute pics of Kara at 41 weeks. She has 2 teeth, crawls everywhere, tries to stand up (pics of that coming soon), talks and grins all the time.

Super Easy Crock Pot Chicken Chili

One of my favorite things about the arrival of cooler weather is this recipe. The best part? It is easy!

Crock Pot Chicken Chili
2 or 4 frozen chicken breasts
2 cans black beans (seasoned or unseasoned)
2 cans corn
1 can Rotel (if you don't want the extra spice, just used diced tomatoes)
1 package taco seasoning

Place the chicken on the bottom of your crock pot. Open all your cans and pour them on top of the chicken. You don't even have to drain them! Add the taco seasoning to the top and cook on high for 4 hours. Shred the chicken with a fork. Serve with chips, sour cream, and cheese. So so good and easy! Serve it up, light a fire in your fireplace, and enjoy!

Kara is 9 months old!

I'm a little behind on pictures. We went out of town a few days after Kara's 9 month day, then I caught the stomach bug (yuck!), so I'm just now getting to them. 

I had a hard time taking these pictures this time. Kara is always moving. And I couldn't get too many smiles out of her either. We kept trying different locations and scenery, but not much worked. You'll see her goofy face in a sec...

Officially Crawling!

Well, at 38 weeks old, Kara has discovered her hands and knees- and moving them together at the same time! She's a pretty cute crawler. See?

By the way, she somehow managed to put a hole in that orange balloon, but a teeny tiny one that caused that balloon to take a whole day to deflate. She's talented!
